WNEG-TV Creative Executions
WNEG-TV is a regional television station that covers all of Northeast Georgia. The station lost its CBS affiliation in 2008, and was bought by the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Without the programming that came with CBS, WNEG-TV ran hour upon hour of syndicated shows like Punk’d and Pimp my Ride, along with old MGM movies and The Wendy Williams Show. That’s a problem. What they did have going for them, however, was news programming that spoke to the needs and wants of Northeast Georgians. Research proved that WNEG-TV was the only news station that served only Northeast Georgia, which differentiated it from the Atlanta news stations that would only cover the region in the case of a triple homicide or a celebrity sighting. This distinction became the nugget of truth that our team ran with. The struggling station needed to make it known that they were the only station that truly cared about the people of Northeast Georgia. So that’s what led my team and I to change WNEG-TV’s slogan from We are Northeast Georgia to Nonstop for Northeast Georgia. Below, I’ve included some samples of the work I produced while working on the campaign!
JetBlue Media Plan
JetBlue’s mission has long been Bringing humanity back to air travel. For years, that message has resonated with business travelers. Our challenge was to apply that mission to a new target: vacation travelers. Here’s what we came up with.
Flash Game
During the Fall 2009 semester, I had the opportunity to learn the basics of Flash in my New Media Production class. Although it looks prehistoric, my “Tweet Skeet” game was a lot of fun to create. Take out as many Twitter birds as you can and become a technologically savvy 21st century hunter! Play the game!

Acting
Admittedly, I’m not a great actor. But it’s just so much fun! I work with the UGA Filmmaking Union, mainly promoting the club through social media and print ads around campus, but also as an actor for student productions! Some productions that I’ve been a part of have been student films for class assignments and national contests. Some, though, have been promotional videos for different events and businesses at UGA. Those productions are especially interesting because they allow me to see what is basically a commercial from the viewpoint of the talent. Here are some student productions that I’ve been a part of!
The Bed (March 2011)
UGA Fitness & Wellness Promo (February 2011)
UGA Humans vs. Zombies Promo (October 2010)
Fronteras de la Mente (January 2010)
